The weather: In December, the average temperature in Puerto Rico is between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius (73-84 degrees Fahrenheit).
Things to do: Because many Puerto Ricans celebrate Christmas, you can see lots of holiday decorations, drink a special Christmas cocktail called coquito, and maybe even see some parrandas (similar to Christmas caroling). In addition, some popular places to visit in Puerto Rico include the Castillo San Felipe del Morro, El Yunque National Rainforest, and Old San Juan. Enjoy Puerto Rico’s rich heritage!
2. Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain
The weather: In December, the average temperature in Tenerife is between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius (66-75 degrees Fahrenheit).
Things to do: Depending on your personal preferences, this might be a bit too cool to take a dip in the water. But not to worry… there are so many other things to do! Things to do: Cape Town is known for its hiking and stunning views! Some of the best views (accessible either by car or on foot) are Lion’s Head, Maclear’s Beacon, Cape Point and Chapmans Peak Drive.
